What made Minecraft special to you?

What was it about Minecraft that intrigued you enough to dedicate time and money towards the game?

For me it was originally the ability to play with all your friends and build a community, but as Minecraft evolved and changed it became more of the gamemodes that were released such as Survival Games in its earliest stages.

I loved the community aspect of the game. It always made for a good time with old friends, new friends, and anyone who decided to hop online. It gave me the ability to meet new people, and have fun at the same time!

I really miss that aspect of the game. After all my friends stopped playing Minecraft it never really felt the same. Sure I met new people but it was different. I feel like Minecraft nowadays has lost that community aspect because people create servers more for profit than just out of enjoyment.

Agreed, that's why I mostly stick to hypixel

I want to find more to do with the game. I feel like I've literally done everything at this point. Played every gamemode, played every type of server, tried all the big mod packs out, even owned a few servers. The only thing left for me that I would like to do is start a little survival server on an older version of the game.

I never really liked Minecraft when I started playing. Before Minecraft I played Halo and never thought I would ever play Minecraft because I would watch survival episodes on youtube and the game looked like garbage. I eventually quit playing Minecraft till my cousin told me it was better on PC and I should try it so I did and ever since then i've played it almost everyday I really liked the server part of it and how you could play with other people. I still to this day play Minecraft its not as fun anymore but I still have friends I met in 2013-2014 that I still talk to and play with.

Nowadays people don't play for fun its all P2W and people just want money

I honestly have a stroke when I play Minecraft on console/mobile. It's a game that was made for PC and I always feel so limited using a controller. The crafting menus are also such a pain in the ass a times.

I grew up with it basically and the fact that you could just do whatever you wanted made me happy as a kid.
