As the title says, what microphones do you guys use?

I am currently looking for a proper microphone that is suitable for videos, I currently have the blue yeti black out edition but it’s not that good unless I’m just setting it up wrong or need an arm.

If you $400 to spar, I would highly recommend considering my setup. You get an Audio Technica AT2020, along with a low-end Focusrite Scarlett Solo and a RODE PSA1 boom arm. I've heard good things about the Elgato Wave XLR which has been regarded as the best low-end XLR interface, but the Scarlett Solo should do you just fine.

I've used the exact setup as above (AT2020 + Focusrite Scarlett Solo) and I still own these, however, I bought the Elgato Wave 3 to see if I could minimise the amount of equipment I have to use and wow, I much prefer it.

Audio quality is better in my surroundings on the wave 3, and in my opinion it offers much more with its compatibility with the Wave Link software, this software is make or break for me especially for streaming, essentially replaces my need of a GoXLR and does more or less the same thing. Elgato wave 3 is my pick!

Definitely would look into the Black Yeti settings as I also have that mic and it didn't sound good at all until I went on YouTube and started messing with the settings through a tutorial.

$140, blue yeti. Been using mine for like 5 years.
I've only had to replace the usd wire after bending it to much.

Shure MV7 + Scarlett Red Audio Interface. Best setup imo.

Don't fall for microphones that market themselves as "gaming microphones". They will distract you away from their rubbish quality with their fancy LGB lights. The best sounding microphone will come from a condenser microphone that connects via an audio interface. If you're making videos or streaming, it's definitely worth it.
Sure there are exceptions, but gaming products are a massive gimmick. Always do your research before purchasing.
