Just out of pure desperation and confusion,

I need help picking a name color for myself ;p I'm planning on getting a name color, but I don't know what color would suit my personality and my profile pic..

Why don't you fill in your profile picture with colors?

Then just match the color of your shirt with your name color, I believe that would look fine. If you're going to leave it like that, match it with your text in your signature.

I would,but my coloring skills are pretty much the equivalent of crap. I don't have photoshop so, I can't color it with fancy gradients and all, and my software can do is paintbucket fill a area with,one, solid color.

If you do graphics good, you can easily make enough to afford Photoshop.
