What server should I buy?

Im looking to buy a couple of server AMD or intel. Budget is around $200-$350 a server. Want to buy a couple of low end $250 and a couple better $350 ish. My colocation is $30 for a 1U with low power (e3 sevrers). My colocation is $50 for servers with (dual x5670).
What should I buy to make a profit?

No like i want to buy used hardware or refurbished hardware

Uhm, I'd go for eBay. There's many great deals on there for used hardware.
Just do a quick search, I'm sure you'll find something to your liking.

What kind of hosting are you willing to sell?
VPS, Minecraft, Web Hosting, ...

For VPS, the lower end cpu's would do the job. Lots of cores with a high clock speed is your way to go.
For MC hosting, you'd have to get a CPU with a high clock speed in order to not get lagg on any servers.
For Dedicated you can choose what you sell. The better hardware at the better price = the more sales.
But again, for $350 you won't ever get any real decent machines.
Some pay $350 monthly for a good one
