What should I do if I purchased resources but cannot contact the author?

Because his resource needs his exclusive plug-in to run normally,

I can't contact him through the private message on the website, what should I do?

If you read the rules you would've noticed this rule:

5.2.1 Do not offer or require external assets/dependencies to your resource without providing a publicly accessible link to it within the resource description.

Since I don't see a link to this exclusive plug-in, and if it is not provided with the resource itself you've all right to refund. I'm not 100% sure, so please contact an administrator about this.

What you can try first, is contacting the author himself:

But if he don't respond in time add a forum administrator and explain the situation.

Hey, sorry for getting back to you so late. In fact, I've been sending him messages on Discord every month for the past 9 months, and he hasn't replied to a single one. His server setup can only be used with the resource dependency shown above: 'ThePitExt (EXCLUSIVE) - Exclusive plugin of the resource. (( That plugin is sent via pm or discord )).' The problem is that I can't get in touch with him. :C
