I'd recommend working at a job that you enjoy. It's much more important to enjoy what you're doing than to chase the money, because chasing money is how you burn out and lose interest in whatever you're doing.

so you don't get burnt out and it's still exciting to do because you can't do it all day, but you still enjoy doing what you do as a job.

For some people this isn't that good of an idea though.

The thing is it's fun when you're doing what you want to. Once you get a job doing it and start getting unreasonable deadlines and no creative liberty where you HAVE to do this exact way and it HAS to be done by this time, it starts to make you hate doing it a little bit.

Well tbh he probably means freelancing and not working a corporate job. Because doing a corporate job for let's say 3D modeling isn't like making 3D models on your own at all even if you remove the deadlines, so yea.
