Invest it if you're 18 or have your parent open an investing account. I mean stocks like Robinhood. Seriously, during uncertain times, as a "small guy" its the best time to start buying up some stocks, holding them long term and get rich later.

If you want to play options/actively trade not "invest and forget", then go to ThinkOrSwim I hear its much better no free stocks i believe though. Or try Webull for free stocks.

As Satan said, invest in stocks. Due to the pandemic, stocks have plummeted and now is the perfect time to buy. For a low risk stock, I can easily recommend the S&P 500, which currently goes for about 285$ a share as we speak. If you get 4 shares, and the stock increases, per say, 50$ after this pandemic is over, you would generate $200 for having four shares without even thinking about the money.

I personally wouldn't sink my 1k into a measly 4 stocks of a huge index. I rather would go for smaller ETFs (Exchange Trade Funds), as they diversify your stocks. Or you could dive into a "near bankrupt company" that is a stable sector (utility in my example). I bought 11 shares I think of PGC (PG&E) california utility company at stage 11 bankruptcy at like $8. Its now at a stable $11. I've made $25-30 ish from holding it.

If they rise back to their normal price in a decade from now, I'll have made a good sum. SPY moves alot slower and thus a lower risk because its such a HUGE index. Up to you @ original poster of the thread.

Invest into assets, dont create liabilities for yourself, stocks are basically real estate online, I suggest doing what people have suggested above and creating some small revenue then re investing into your assets to keep getting richer

Scary one, since Warren Buffet pulled out on the airline industry, alot of the airlines are on literal hairlines with their cash. Its definitely a huge return if they do come back.

I like your way of investing, but personally is too risky for me. The S&P 500 is almost like a guarantee of money, which is why I decided to buy a couple shares and just completely forget about the money. Cheers

I would be careful investing in stocks, do your research before buying as you may gain $300 but you can also lose $300. If you really don't know what to invest in then just save it.
