So basically, I contacted a freelancer to set up a server and paid for it of course. However, when the server came, it had essentials, buycraft and etc configured for 3 servers which i have no idea of. When the deal was made, I was promised that the setup will be highly custom etc and good in quality. I contacted the freelancer about it but he denied everything and threatened to open a scam report on me for threatening to do a scam report on him. Of course, i naturally cut all contact with him but 1 month forward, after persuasion from some people, I decided to pursue the matter. Why you may ask, I suspect that the configurations may be actually leaked, which is against TOS of the rules on mcm, the server came with premium plugins, which again against the the TOS of mcm. I initially decided to let it go, because I had no evidence that it is leaked or whatever, but now, although I still can't confirm that it was leaked, I am sure that I should be able to open a scam report for breaking TOS and possibly using leaked configurations.
During our deal, the seller has been deleting his messages, such as him threatening to do a scam report on me and other things which makes him look bad. Fortunately, I am able to save some screenshots. Right now I need an opinion and advise on whether this is eligible for a scam report and should I do a chargeback on paypal, and if I were to do the charge back, how can i ensure that I can win.
