Obviously won't say who.

I've seen them change their Discord names like... 4 times now?

They've changed their server names at least twice.

They don't always respond on time, or with the right information.

Like, as a freelancer, typically my jobs only take a few days. Max. This is taking more than two weeks and — don't get me wrong — some commissions do take that long but I simply don't have what I need, cause they haven't told me what I need to do properly (since it's changed at least thrice), and I'm beginning to think I just need to give a partial refund or something. Because I can't give really give anything back, but I also don't want to waste my time no more. (Except I withdrew the money from PayPal, so fucking hell, I'd have to get another commision to give the refund then.)

Side note: this person (I think) has seen my terms of service but there's nothing in there about this kind of stuff. It just says that I reserve my right to not give any refunds and if I do give refunds, I'll do so with my own disclosure.

Also, they don't want to tell me their name, nor any real identifiable information about themselves (though I've heard stories about their troubled family life!!), just... really hecking weird.

The client is probably 13 years old, I don't want to disrespect him but criticizing by the unprofessionalism he has no clue what running a server is. Just give him a refund and drop the commission.

He could obviously be lying? Don't believe anything on the internet. Have you been in a call with him?

Wow, "don't believe everything on the internet." Thanks, daddy.

But, erm, yeah, I guess he COULd be lying? By the way he speaks, I wouldn't think he's lying, but he does reference the fact everyone doesn't believe he has 2 houses or something?

Problem is I don't have money to refund him, so. That's fun. It's not a lot of money tho, thank god.

Yes son, lol[DOUBLEPOST=1557578243][/DOUBLEPOST]
btw do you want like a site developed for you or nah? would be beneficial for both of us lol[DOUBLEPOST=1557578439][/DOUBLEPOST]
Give him an ultimatum of sorts. Say you will drop him (with no refund) if he can't be bothered to simply reply (by some deadline) or give any response that helps you understand what he wants out of the project. You potentially could re-purpose his project into something that you could sell to someone else to make up for lost time and effort.

Already did. Guess I should wait a bit longer, but honestly fed up with this person, don't want to work for them at all. Plus, what I did is worth jackshit (it's a background and one logo with a non working link).

Had someone do exactly that, said he was out of school and in architecture. Turned out they lied about their entire life (not that i cared) and was a scammer that was ban evading which is why they kept changing their name.
Couldnt chargeback on me so scammed someone else out of a loan (which i found out way later).
