What type of development should I learn?

Okay. So, I’ve really wanted to start developing so now is my time. I’m wondering which are the: most profitable, quickest to learn and have the best results. When I say development I mean like: web development, discord bot development, etc.

Any feedback or responses are highly appreciated!

Java is well paid but can take long time for people
Html, php, css etc good but need to be well experienced
Discord bot development i dont think is well paid..

I would do Java

I'd say learn java, or HTML / web development. But if you get into web development, I highly recommend using Vue.

Although there are logical starting points for coding (I've heard python is a good starting language, and web languages are very forgiving), the best piece of advice given to me was this: you get your best introduction into coding if you have an objective. You want to solve a problem or you just want to make your life easier/cooler.

For example, the advice I received was about a guy wanting to cheat. So he learned how to code in his TI calculator, and jump started his career.

I wanted to make a website. So I started from scratch making websites.

What do you want to do with coding? Research the best starting position from there.
