What version of Minecraft do you use and why?

Hello!

This is all for my own curiosity, seeing what version of minecraft people use and why, feel free to include what client you use as well! (Vanilla, Optifine, Badlion, etc.)

I'll start, I use Badlion on 1.12.2, the main reason I use 1.12.2 is because of the character limit when sending chat messages which is an issue for me since I do chat quite a lot. I also get a good amount of FPS when playing 1.12.2.

1.12.2, I have like 300 mods (not in a mod pack, individually installed by myself) and can't be assed to update everything.

i use lunar client, 1.7.10 for practice/uhc (best version for those) and 1.8.9 for hypixel and factions

Im playing on version 1.15.2 with optifine installed!

I like the new features from it, and when 1.16 releases i would probably go to that!

1.15.2, development is 100% easier not supporting older versions due to the new and cool stuff in 1.15.2 and why would you be using outdated software?

I use Lunar Client considering it's pretty good against cheaters and the most reliable overall. I occasionally use Forge on 1.8.9 since there are many mods I would enjoy having that Lunar does not offer.

I personally play UHC or competitive PvP so maybe that's why I choose Lunar/Forge overall.

1.7.10 , It's always been a simpler and easier version. PvP is more fun on it imo which, when I played minecraft, was a key part of it for me.

1.8.9 because I don't play on any server other than hypixel

1.15.2 just because with optifine works really well

1.8.9 for pvp and servers like hypixel

Lunar Client, PvPLounge, LabyMod and some of the different mobs (All for 1.8.9)
Survival is definitely the best on newer version tho.
