I know about Xenforo, but $160? I don't want to spend $160 on a website and I own two servers, so I'd theoretically speaking have to spend $320 on websites alone. What is a cheaper but great alternative than Xenforo for my Minecraft servers? Many thanks.

I know a lot of people hate Enjin, but I think it's more budget friendly until you get enough profit to switch to Xenforo. With Enjin you get Minecraft integration services including a shop similar to BuyCraft/Tenex/other alternatives.

It's not the best performing and certainly not the best in terms of features, flexibility and resources, BUT it's the best bang for your buck to start off with.

But I'm also thinking back in the day like 2014-2017 days, and there's probably plenty of other options available. Enjin I think is pretty much dead now.

Who even uses forums these days lmao. Just get a portal page leading to vote sites, buycraft etc. all you need.

NamelessMC is a great free alternative to XenForo. It doesn't have all the features of XF but it does a great job with Minecraft integration.

You don't necessarily need two licenses if both of your servers are related (one network, two servers). You can have categories on the forums for either server types but if they aren't related, it would not make sense to do this. If price is your concern, go with nameless for forums or ghost if you are only wanting a blog style site. I don't recommend doing both but you can if you want.

All those portal page styles seem old now. It's simple but tacky in my opinion, unless you can spice it up like CosmicPvP but that won't be a $15 job. You're not going to get a nice looking site unless you're willing to spend the money. If you want simple, then be my guest and go simple. It's your site so have it designed how you want it.

The reason I say two licenses is because my servers aren't going to be a Network, they're going to be completely seperate. I do understand and agree on your points, that goes for everything really. You get what you pay for. Thanks for your input. :)
