Hey guys, this is just a thread I want your opinion about this. It’s pretty self explanatory by the title but feel free to reply to this thread with anything at all.
This is correct, unless you have a brain.
A community manager would keep the community interested, take suggestions, keep upgrading the product they like and listen, listening is the most important aspect to a manager, there's a saying “We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.”, for a staff manager, they'd do their best to get the staff to understand the players, and really what a staff manager should be doing is working with the community manager, since a staff manager is like a key to the door, and the door would be the players, and the community manager is the house that takes care of the players. To clarify. It will be a community and staff manager. If you could hire 1, what would you like them to do and why?
The manager MUST be able to talk via voice chat or I'm not interested. They also gotta know their sh or at least have a good history of staffing behind them. They gotta be reliable and be very active even outside the game to get things across and get ideas and help. If you have a small server do not hire a manager that requires a pay. Granted they most likely know how to manage but if you have a server that is small that's a waste of money (for ad managers you could consider a paid one too but small servers don't need ad managers). You as the owner have to be able to help your managers and kinda step on their position. Granted you might have the shiny owner tag but at the end of the day it doesn't mean anything more than a manager tag. You also gotta be patient as well as the manager. For staff managers train them and make sure they know exactly what kind of people you want in the team before letting them decideTo clarify. It will be a community and staff manager. If you could hire 1, what would you like them to do and why?
You mean unless you have more than 0 brain cells, way to f yourself over in a response. This is correct, unless you have 0 brain cells of course.
although speaking on my terms, I'd never hire a Manager from MC-Market, if I were to hire, I'd be hiring someone I've known for awhile and trusted with my entire Network. In all said above^
I would also want a Manager that's not "business" literally 24/7.
I want my staff members to enjoy their time working for & with me, relax sometimes and have a little fun!
Relating to a Manager is also very key to me, by this I mean what do we have in common that can help build a more inviting tone?
