People would make other types of server if they were easy to make and had much of a guaranteed return on funds

Do you think that when you make a server the only possible thing you can do is factions? It's not even that I have a problem with factions or the other gamemodes, they are the only thing anyone ever makes anymore though, and most of the time they aren't even unique and have nothing special about them. Or if they do, they just have stuff you can find on cosmicpvp. For some reason, everyone that makes faction servers copies cosmicpvp. If you can't come up with your own unique ideas it's pretty much pointless to start a server now when there's so many that are exactly the same.
