What's different nowadays?

I used to run servers back in 2017-2019, and whether they were factions, skyblock, or whatever, I had no problem retaining a playerbase. Even 4-10 active players were good enough for me!

What's so different nowadays? Tried opening a server back in December, and it seems like a whole different ballpark. I'm curious to see y'all's thoughts!

Still the same imo. It's all about marketing... Other than factions, factions is pretty dead
