What's going on.. It's terrible!

Just before you start reading this has nothing to do about mcmarket or anything of the sort. This is about what's happening in real life. It's quite terrible.

I live in NYC and my parents purchase the "New York Times" if you don't know what that is its a newspaper. One day I was bored and I didn't really want to go outside sense it was cold and rainy so I couldn't go to the local basketball court or call up one of my friends to hang it because most them were on vacation (This is when we had a week off of school.) I decided to read the newspaper. I skimmed through a few but then I found one that really caught my eye and I decided that I'd like to tell you guys about it.

Most of the worlds terrorists attacks have came from people who were the religion of Islam, or Islamic I'm not quite sure, people in NYC are getting horassed and called names because they or the same color or religion of these people. A girl about 16 years old had a rock thrown at her because she was there color, and the teachers are even being rude to her. Her parents said that they've taken the girl out of school until they get this resolved. (In my opinion that's pretty stupid because they can just switch schools.)
I just wanted to bring this up because America always says, We have developed so much as a nation but look what's happening after a small crisis. And the people who are doing this are quite stupid or retarded. Islamic is a race not a country or union, anyone, black, white hispanic can practice the religion. People who are there color are not the only threat, it's everyone. And to pick on a little girl.. That's uncalled for. In the comments please make a opinion about this, or solution.

I agree, it's a terrible world. So many people just don't realize that even apart from those nutjobs using religion as an excuse and nothing more (though they dont realize it themselves), such general hate for any ethnicity will mean a higher percentage become the next generation of nutjobs.

People will always do horrible stuff and innocent people will get hurt for that. Maybe someday the world will have better people so stuff like this won't happen but I don't think that will happen anytime soon going off whats been happening recently.

It is wrong for this to happen, but you also need to see where other people are coming from. Since 2001 I can only remember 2 terrorist attacks in the US that were committed by non-muslims, non-arabs, and non-islams (there may be more). I can remember at least 10 that were by those groups. I'm not saying that the treatment is right, but it's sort of expected. Americans have strong opinions when it comes to other Americans dying. This sort of ties in with arabs claiming it is un-fair that they get extra screening when coming to and from mid-eastern countries. I 100% agr0ee they need more airport screening when you are frequently going to countries where there are ties with terrorism. Anyway, I am getting off topic. I'm 14. I also meant for this to be mainly about NY, if you've never been there New York has all colors and all races and mostly everyone gets along so this is unexpected to me.

I have a question about Islam. Any Islamic people or Islam Major out here? Ok here is my question. Our school has a one month program on Islam and how it works. The first day of class, a wild kid decides to yell out "Just bomb them all!" well... That didn't fly with the teacher. The student is kicked out of the class and has been suspended. The teacher then goes on to teach the course and he stumbles upon one thing, a word, a word we all know and have a negative bias towards it, this word is Jihad. He said that there are two meanings to the word Jihad. Holy War -&- Holy Struggle. Another student decides to interrupt him and ask a question that all of us students were asking in our head. Which one does I.S.I.S believe in? He said Holy War. They believe that other than the 5 pillars, that is the only way to go into heaven. To die for your country killing all the infidels (non-believers). He said that almost 85% of muslims do not believe in that and they believe that Jihad is a "Holy Struggle" with becoming perfect or close to perfect. (Perfect being like Muhammed or Allah) My question is, do muslims actually think that much different with the next muslim? Is it that diverse? I love all peace-loving Muslims but I can not love the Muslims who try to bomb us (us being infidels) with this notion of getting into heaven. You would think preaching to the infidels would get you into heaven instead of just killing them. Please do not start hate against Muslims and please do not hate on me for asking this viable question. I stand next to about 99% of Americans who just want a answer on why this is what it is.
