What's hytale? Why is it a big deal?

Can someone please explain to me what hytale is and why it's being hyped up so much before it's even launched? Especially by hosting companies. I'd just like to understand some more background.

Hytale is probably super hyped up, because it's from Hypixel. But it's also memed by a lot of people, since, you said it, it looks a lot like Minecraft.
