You pay for what you get. If you buy 1 dollar a gb expect horrible support and lag. I rather pay the normal amount I do right now (5.99 a gb) but I get great support it runs off good servers and if I need anything I get a ticket response within a hour. I have used servers that are $3 a gb and those are fine and if your on a budget go with those.
Not really true. I've paid $1.50/GB before, some of the best service and server speed I've experienced. Great support, answered within less than an hour, and that was at midnight. It just depends on the day really.

half the time I see $2- and its a newer host its gone within 3 months so I don't trust hosts like that. I find a reliable host who won't be going anywhere who has good support and just nice owners.

shockbyte and minespan are just two example are hosts that weren't gone in 3 months and have decent support, decent servers for what they are. I've used both, never had an issue with either.

Minespan is shit and my servers where always low tps and lagging with shockbyte now I know shockbyte has improved but minespan hasn't and I didn't say all servers died I said most.

but that's the thing. You can have the worst experience on minespan and I had a really amazing one. You can have the best experience on mcpro or something, and I can have the worst. It doesn't matter what host, they all have their ups and downs. You either get lucky or you don't. A shitty host can be better than an expensive, 5 year old host
