$150. This was a year ago, when I was still new to independent commissioned building. I sent the build to him before he paid, and he never paid.
a month later I was able to sell it for $50 to BeerFish, who is now selling it again (with permission), so I technically only lost $100, but he saved $150 so thats how much I was scammed.

This is why you must never send something to the client, that you know nothing about, without first receiving full payment.

lol, that was a year ago. The thing at the top of my signature was what came of it, after I did some research and some thinking. It was one of my first solo deals anyway, and the last one where I truly got scammed. Only times I've been scammed after was when I was too lazy to follow my own rules.
