What's wrong with this spigot?

I recently started using a different jar, and this happens. It's a forked fork of TacoSpigot 1.8.8, I use protocolsupport to allow 1.7 users to join. I don't know why, but slime particles appear when people hit eachother and the hit detection is ass. The hit detection is sort of okay, but when the slime particles appear, you can't seem to hit the person. If anyone has any idea how to fix this, please let me know! Also I know none of the plugins I'm using does this, no other spigot does this either.

Can you give us a whole list of plugins? I not disable each one, one by one and you will see which one is causing it as it will stop when the plugin causing it is disabled. I recommend using plugman to disable them faster and without reloading/restarting your server each time.

Like I said, I'm 100% sure it isn't a plugin. It's the spigot itself.

Use the official spigot?
The official spigot is completely terrible for PvP. The forked fork of tacospigot is a lot smoother for PvP and has configurable KB.

Why don't you use paper 1.7 - 1.8?
Again, paper and spigot suck for PvP. The spigot I sell and the one I'm trying to get to work is a lot better for PvP. I don't get why people even ask this, it's stupid.

Not so stupid at all. People with less knownledge maybe? Or do you think that everyone knows as much about it as you?
Well automatically assuming something without knowing it (such as using spigot or paper instead) just annoys me. I'd also expect people with some spigot jar knowledge to make suggestions.

Who made the jar? If you did, does it alter packets in anyway? Specifically the PacketPlayOutWorldEvent and or PacketPlayOutWorldParticles packets.

I've found the PacketPlayOutWorldEvent and PacketPlayOutWorldParticles .class files in the spigot. I can send them to you?

From what I see, the reason you cannot attack when the particles of slime come up is that you cannot actually hit particles.
I know this from when I make MythicMobs, I sometimes use slime or another thick particle that doesn't allow hitting to block attacks.

Anyways, that is your hit detection problem so overall you need to find out why the slime appears.
It is most likely a problem with another plugin or someone felt it was fun to add slime particles to hits in their spigot, because you did get it from someone else I believe (Don't quote me on it)

My suggestion, look and find who made it and see if they can make an alter to it to remove the slime, use another spigot version (1.10-1.11 spigot with the 1.7.10-1.8 pvp addon works amazing for pvp servers from my experience of running servers) or find what other plugin could be doing this if not the spigot.

Hopefully I am right or else I am a blabbering crazy person, which I am.
So 50%-50% I am right.

I thought you quit making servers cause you sold ocha. Lol.
I didn't want to manage Ocha anymore. I wanted to start fresh, but I never really "quit" making servers, my man :)

I didn't want to manage Ocha anymore. I wanted to start fresh, but I never really "quit" making servers, my man :)
So try to get a more updated version of it.
It may help do do as I suggested with the 1.11 version and the 1.7.10-1.8 pvp support
More players, good pvp, etc

So what I had for an old practice PvP server recently.
1.11 server version for all players, via version latest release, protocolsupport that brings in 1.7.10-1.8 PvP
For an example, I believe we are still using it on my server if you would like to test it?
