Hello everyone,

I was just talking to my friend who was banned due to his account being compromised, and he said basically the only way he could contact staff was to create another account, submit a ticket thus getting his main unbanned, and his new account banned. This would solve that whole issue and would save everyone's time, the banned user so he could simply submit a ticket and pled his case if he believes he was banned falsely and out of his control. The Staff Member to ban the account that was created due to infringing on the ToS. As well the Staff member asking about why they created another account. It is just so much simpler if banned/suspended users can still open/respond to tickets of there own. Let me know what you all think, I just think it would solve an issue of time and ease for everyone.

Justis idk if you take care of this but here

and I think he would need proof it was compromised. To be able to do anything, Him not being able to log in doesn't mean anything if he was banned he was banned.
He is unbanned now. But it was all a misunderstanding and there was no other way to communicate then to create another account pled his main account.
Or maybe you could make your account more secure and not get compromised in the first place.
This is not for only compromised accounts, I hope you know that...
Lol!

Thx everyone for the support to my idea, at the end of the day it's up to the Administration of MC-Market.

I know, but it's a chunk of it, I'm sick of seeing people get compromised, and other people being scammed because of this.
You realize when you are compromised you will have the same issues occur. Nobody wants to be, but it happens and we can't do much about it. It's an awful situation but sometimes even 2-factor verification may be compromised. I see exactly what you are saying though.

Most people who are compromised have poor security, and they usually don't have 2FA enabled.
It's a very rare case that a hacker bypasses 2FA via sim-swapping, and they'd have to try really hard to do so.

I agree I feel like it should be like twitter when you are suspended, no access to anything except the ticket

Seems like it would be way more easier to ban appeal if this was the case.

You currently can't appeal at all if suspended/banned. Other than to create another account and break the TOS that MC-Market has in place... currently there is no way to appeal fairly.

ZACK want to plead your reason for disagreeing? Everyone seems to like it lol, but it's cool if you just plain disagree.

Unfortunately it is not possible to allow banned members to access the support requests section at the moment. It would be good to have some sort of appeal system developed in the system so that you don't need to create an alt account, but for the moment that is only in the planning stages.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
