Hey guys,
The reason I am making this thread is to shed some light on what TEAMSPEAK and I have been talking about over the past week(s).
If you have been on MC-Market for a while, you know that it is a generally nice community. You will notice there is competition, opinions, shops, and yes, dare I say it, scammers. This thread however isnt about any of those. It is the complete opposite.
Every time I log onto MCM I have the same routine. I log on, say hi to my good friend Justis in the live chat, and then I look at the recent threads on the side of my page. I have noticed, about 80% of the threads I click on, are threads of people trying to create something such as a website, or hosting company, and being vouched by accounts you arent sure are alts or not, bashed on by those who have opinions of their own, or the very few who try to put a smile on the OP's face. You see these every day on MCM. Don't be surprised however. This is business, there will always be competition, comments, people out there who simply don't like your product, style, or just you! So, again, to those who have been on MCM for some time, are well aware of these kinds of things, and are well adjusted.
Anyways back on topic.
This user named TEAMSPEAK randomly PM'd me one day. He saw I was a Mojang Agent for this year's Minecon. He later told me in the conversation that he had purchased a ticket, and that he couldn't attend any more. He told me that he was going to try to sell it first, but if he couldn't, he wanted to give it to me to give to someone the day of Minecon. This someone being a person who wants to go, but didnt have a ticket, someone who's ticket may not be working, basically... just someone. He didnt want his ticket to go to waste. Today, he messaged me with that ticket. He asked if I could send him some pictures of the event, because he cant attend. Because of how kind this user is, and how caring he is, I said yes. Even I, wouldn't have given my ticket away. I would have found some way to get money out of it, or, requested a refund from Mojang which you can do up to 15 days before the event. He did not. Instead he sent it to me. To give to someone, to possibly put a smile on someones face, and let them into an event which they could be so excited for. This person could be a young child, who has a passion for Minecon, but doesn't have a ticket, it could be anyone.
So in this conversation I accepted this ticket. When I get to California on the 22nd, I will be sure to find someone who is looking for a ticket and give it to them. I will ask to take a picture with them and send it to TEAMSPEAK . I will also be taking pictures for him, maybe even a few videos. I think he's earned it.
I wanted to write a long Vouch on his profile, one that was truly deserved for what he's doing for someone. Unfortunately the character limit was 420 characters. So, I tried my best, and brought my Vouch down to 418 characters. For some reason, this didnt do me a justice. I wanted the community to know, that there are still nice people, doing nice things on this website. It may be hard to find them, but they are around. TEAMSPEAK is one of those people. I felt that I needed to tell this story not to give credit, not for attention, but for the awareness of how kind, and caring people can be when they want to be. I know this website is for promoting business, trading, making cash. But to me, the reason I log onto MCM every day, is for the people like TEAMSPEAK .
You earned it man.
Here is our exact conversation that took place:
Lastly, I know there will be a few who comment saying things such as "You make it seem like hes saved someone's life" or pointless shit like that. Its fine. You are entitled to your opinion on my post. The reason I am posting this, is because I feel something like this shouldn't go un-noticed. He didnt make a public thread about it, He didnt tell everyone what he was doing, he privately came to me, on his own decision, to do something good for someone. I don't want something like that to go un noticed, and its time I feel that it can be appreciated by others.
Thank you TEAMSPEAK
