Hello Everyone! Today, I am looking to get into the business of Graphic Design. I would like to know if there is any place where I can learn some tips and tricks of GFX. I want to become a new logo designer, and may expand in the future! If you know of anyone, or anywhere that can help me, please help me out!

Thanks for your time and help,

~Prong

There's no specific way to make GFX.
You become better at making it by just doing it, it doesn't matter if it sucks the first few time, it's to become better at it, to develop your own style.
Try different things, maybe even try different programs, and do what you feel is right.

Your own style is what makes you unique.
As long as you develop your style, then it's all good.
Of course you can look at tutorials, for tips and tricks, or do courses to get instructions and feedback on how to do certain things, but no matter what you do, practise makes perfect.

I recommend practising, a lot of practising.
You don't need to spend money to become better at something, hard work pays off.
Start with something simple, maybe a fancy text, make a few different designs of it, if that goes well, move on to something a bit more complex, and so on.

Good luck with becoming a GFX artist! :)
If you ever need help, feel free to PM me.

Honestly, just open up the program and start messing around.
Being self taught can benefit you in so many ways.

Your best bet is messing around in certain programs and teaching yourself, maybe using a few tutorials/courses to help you develop your knowledge around the programs you will be using.

Do not watch tutorials that tell you to design in a specific way or how to design something; they will usually teach you stupid methods and will ruin your work along the line. Just be yourself, which will also help you develop your own style - find inspiration from your interests and not other designers.

The most important thing about design is staying motivated and being unique.

Also, please don't 'learn' from anyone on here unless you seriously trust them, most designers will teach you in a way in which your workflow will become faulted and that will limit you in the future. You should ask for opinions and advice from more experienced designers, and ensure that you are happy with your work before publishing it.

I learned doing graphics by myself, circa 4 years ago. I started just for fun, doing some Youtube banners for friends and, after some months, I was Learning more and more on Photoshop and cinema 4D, without tutorial and, decided then to continue this "career" and learn more programs and become a graphic designer and..I think now I'm kinda good at it, I can use perfectly Photoshop and I think I can do alot now. This is how I started so..yeah. The "easy" way is the school, graphic school but, you will only learn the programs and do some shits and nothing about MC and stuff like that obviously.

If you are planning on making "actual" designs for companies e.t.c I don't suggest you staying on this forum because they will keep your standards small.

For some real 2D related tutorials I recommend SesoHQ excellent and friendly guy
I could go on & on suggesting names, but the real way to go is by
Udemy.com its an online learning platform that has everything you need,
problem courses cost allot I think I might have an account with some magnificent paid courses that I can sell to you for just 30$

Best regards,
Blue.

Hey, i started 3 years ago with designing and wanted to make it a possible job, i started with watching designers, learning the basics etc. What helped me the most were tutorials, even if they are easy you keep learning from hidden buttons you didn't even know they where there. You can start with GIMP, it's a free program and it feels like Photoshop, i currently use Photoshop and i prefer sticking to this program because i know how to use it. Start making free banners, avatars etc. So you can learn how to sell the designs. Good luck my friendly duck.

If you do graphics professionally, it can be one of the best paying jobs.

Time? Yes. Money? Eh, not really
If you go for professional designing, then you are going to probably waste money on packs mockups and stuff that will help you work faster and achieve better "quality"
