Where to advertise?

Good evening everyone​

It has come to my concern that my playerbase is not increasing how I would like it to. So right now I need a good way to advertise my server
I have a very nice banner with an even better server, but no one seems to come on
If you have a good website that you have used and has given you players, could you please tell me?
I have tried the basic planetminecraft, minecraftserverlist, etc. for my voting and advertising needs. This time I would pay for the advertisement.
