Where to find a list of all default minecraft item icon textures?

Hello,

I am looking for some type of database or folder of all the minecraft item icon textures for a project of mine but I have found little useful information online for this. If someone could help, that would be great. Thanks.

I believe you can find them in one of the jars in the .minecraft folder. If I remember correctly, it's the version jars. Try looking there. You can open them with 7-zip or WinRAR.

It's worked since 1.6.4 or higher I think.
