There are way too many HCF servers, a tip is don't launch a hardcore network. Skyblock is a very big game mode right now. Servers are getting thousands of players each day due to this. If you ever wanted to create a HCF server, right now would not be the time. I have made a HCF server and spent hundreds of dollars and never made anywhere near the money I spent back, but when I created a Factions server I made 3x my money back. Goes to show that players would rather spend money on a Factions server than a HCF server. What is the reason to this? I'm not sure, but it could be players not interested in the game mode. I currently am going to be launching a Factions, Prison, Skyblock & KitPvP server quite soon. Do you have any tips about creating a server?

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Relating to the 'market';
HCF is oversaturated.
Factions is oversaturated.
Skyblock is oversaturated, or becoming oversaturated.
Prison is oversaturated.

Minecraft servers are becoming something that aren't entirely profitable. You'll probably have to use your head a bit more and come up with something more unique, because the existing gamemodes are either boring or there are too many.
