you can make a lot more money being a 'normal' dev compared to a web devEh, with Java you have to learn to instantiate objects, create constructors, use polymorphism, use reflection, and so many other advanced concepts.
On the other hand, with HTML, you just put tags with a bit of CSS and Bootstrap and you'll have a pretty good looking website. Of course, to make your website to be more dynamic you'd use Javascript combined with jQuery, but we're not talking about what language is the best, but instead which one is the easiest.
