This question is aimed for developers that work in their preferred environment. I am stuck between Windows and Linux in which should I choose for development. I have used Linux before with Ubuntu. I'd say I like Linux ever since I used it, but it didn't come compatible with my studies. I go back to Windows often for making documents, videos and projects for my school. Windows is good and all but I think I'm wasting too much time using it. It often hangs while I'm working. What do you guys think?

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Very dependent on what youre doing specifically, for example a Java dev probably wont find any use with using Linux, meanwhile a C dev would highly likely benefit from using linux. Windows 10 also has WSL.[DOUBLEPOST=1566134657][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh and i use Linux

Valgrind
GDB
Docker

Those are some tools i use, i believe you can still use them on windows but only through emulation, also i prefer KDE desktop to windows desktop and i like a central app repository (had bad experience with chocolatey on windows)[DOUBLEPOST=1566141719][/DOUBLEPOST]Plus most the things i write are gonna be deployed only on linux so its good for testing

I used to use Ubuntu 19.04, but as I gradually switched to HTML, JS, CSS and RoR, I found out that VSCode is more suited to Win10
