Whisper Button

My Suggestion

I suggest we add a whisper button in the shoutbox, next to each person's name, so for example if Mick was speaking in chat and I clicked the whisper button, it would automatically type in the chat "/whisper Mick " allowing me to write a message, basically the same as what the "@" button does, just a different output.

Why?

• Well, it would probably take about 15 minutes to implement (if that!)
• Arent you sick of people asking "how do I whisper?"
• A lot quicker + easier
• Just better GUI
• I'm honestly surprised this isn't already implemented!

There are plenty of people who don't realize that clicking the @ button will auto-tag people.
I think that at some point, there's just no helping stupidity, and we'll have to put up with the few people that end up asking before trying.

yes, just like that, but next to the "@" symbol, hardly anybody knows about that. Just not very quick TBH

Although I like the idea, I don't think MCM should implement it just because it's not needed and will just make the chat look cluttered.

Also why add it in another location if it's already implemented like Justis R pointed out.

I'm reluctant to make such minor changes to addons that weren't developed by us we will have to recreate that each time the chat addon is updated (which is pretty often).

This just seems like such a minor change being made for changes sake, not because it will really improve the site.
