They're different but very similar. Boxing is the base for MMA alongside Jiu-Jitsu. MMA requires more skill as you have to worry about takedowns, kicks, and etc.

I'm not a McGregor fan. I'm a Diaz fan. Still, I think McGregor will win. Floyd just doesn't have knockout power anymore. He just jabs and runs. I think McGregor is fast enough and powerful enough to win.

Floyd often uses a "Philly Shell" stance. It protects him everywhere but his left side of his chin. If McGregor lands that left hook Mayweather will be done.

We all know, the only person who can stand a chance against Connor is Nate or Nick Diaz. I think they should have a trilogy and give Nate a chance to win the belt. It's not fair to be 1-1 and have the belt.
