Pretty sure it's too late now to renew it, they give you some time after it expires but after that the registrar keeps it and waits to open it back to the public.

You could try backordering it if you really want, but that's pretty expensive ($50+), or you could use something like http://www.domainhole.com/alerts/ that emails you once it goes available, just remember to pick a site that won't steal the domain once it goes available just to make money off you
