Why are unmigrated accounts against the rules?

I think that this rule is quite uselwss, but I may not be seeing the whole argument.
I recently got ~700 to realize they were against the rules. Why is this?

Thank you to anyone who can tell me the other side of the argument.

They wanted to stop the selling of all cracked accounts, but most OGs came from unmigrated, so....

I think there was a rule against illegal activity, and I think selling unmigrated accounts kind of fit in.
But ehhhh.

They were scared that Mojang would take legal actions yet no one has taken legal actions (That have actually suceeded) on [Censored] or other leaking communities. I honestly don't mind the rule because the forums will become a flood with "NOW SELLING FOR $0.18 BUY NOW".

Here's my response to a similar thread:

By allowing only OG/special accounts to be sold, the amount of stolen accounts is limited by a lot because sellers can't just sell cracked accounts in large quantities. Sure they can change the name to some semi like I've seen, but a much lower amount gets sold this way. If an OG or cape is proven to be stolen, it is not allowed to be sold either. We can take the word of an OG/cape seller and take it down if it's proven to be stolen. We can't just take the word of a regular account/unmigrated seller due to the fact that nearly all of these are stolen.

In the past, users selling stolen accounts have caused many problems for us. For example: dannyBstyle's account, a Mojang cape, translator capes and a scrolls cape got cracked and sold in the past and as a result, Marc_IRL was not happy and made an account here and kind of kept an eye on shady stuff like this. It's also been said that Verringer heard concerns from Mojang regarding cracked accounts, which is probably why the rule was made in the first place.

I originally wanted regular accounts to be allowed here myself, but I realized that the rule isn't there to be a hindrance but rather to regulate the amount of stolen accounts sold and discourage cracking.

Same here. My reason for not wanting regular accounts is because the market has recently become over-inflated with unmigrateds and people are selling them for almost nothing. If they allowed the sale of unmigs on here it would just be flooded with "SELLING FOR $0.50!", "SELLING FOR $0.30!", "SELLING FOR $0.20!", "BULK DEALS, BULK DEALS!". People would buy from each other in bulk pricing and resell.

Look at OP. He bought SEVEN HUNDRED Minecraft accounts. Go to any 12 year old and tell him you have 700 Minecraft accounts. He'll think you're Bill Gates' grandson. You're definitely not sniping 700 OGs anytime soon, so do you really NEED 700 accounts? Must you become yet another cracked account merchant?

Exactly! I saw a certain other forum had a regular accounts section and it was filled with petty people trying to buy accounts for 70 cents and then resell for $1 to make a whopping 30 cents and stuff like you described. It just attracts more shady people which is the last thing we need here.

What issue?

Mojang is deleting accounts migrated within the past year in bulk. The only way to get them back is if the original owner uses their TID.

Not all accounts got deleted but I think migrating multiple accounts will set the system off.

Seems like mine are fine, thanks for telling me though!
