I have a british accent and people are very contreversial about it. One day they say « damn it sucks » and another they say it’s sexy. Americans pfff :shrug:

Same, I was born in the USA and have lived here all my life. I and just about everyone I've heard speak about British accents doesn't like them or finds them annoying.

I'm the same way. Like I've spoken to people with British accents on Discord and I don't mind that at all, but if I had to listen to them all the time and hear British colloquialisms all the time, oh boy. I'd go insane.

I'd imagine what most people from the US mean when they say they like them is that they find them fascinating and different. And I agree with that to an extent. I rarely hear them so when I do, it's interesting for me to hear. But as I said it before, I can't deal with hearing them all the time.
