Personally I like anime because it is entertaining and has some awesome story lines. Like "Your Lie in April" has an amazing story. Sad af but it is good. Can't forget the crazy Badass moments that happen sometimes to.

I've watched a bit of animes and I can say I don't really like anime. Storyline gets boring and is too extending at sometimes, but if an anime has a really good storyline I'll watch it

100% agree with Foxs Side thot's statement. Most animes have a silly or childish storyline to it. I use to watch anime and only the animes that had a really good storyline, other than that I just watched actual T.V series with a good storyline and good acting. If you'd ever take the time and quickly search for what animes have the highest ratings and made the most profit - you'd easily see that most people prefer ones with a well made storyline too.

If that's what's putting you against animes, then look for action ones without it like Boku no Hero Acadamia which is good, etc.

I don't hate anime, but I hate how my asian friends rave over it... no need to discuss it every day, making lists and talking about different animes. That's what annoys me, not anime itself

I haven’t read all the comments, but it seems everyone doesn’t like it because it’s “boring”. Honestly, I’ve found more enjoyment in watching some anime’s than I have regular Netflix shows. There are so many anime’s out there with amazing story lines, characters, etc. 7 deadly sins is a good example, Tokyo ghoul, idk. I just feel like there’s a label on anime, that if you watch anime you’re a weeb, or you’re gay or some shit. And I feel that’s why people don’t watch it.

I’ve even had friends that said they won’t watch any anime in their life, they decided to watch one anime and have watched several more since then, people just don’t give it a chance.

Someone who likes anime as a whole is dumb. Someone who dislikes anime as a whole is dumb. Anime isn't a genre but a form of entertainment. Not all sports, or cartoons, or video games are good, and everyone has their own taste. People who despise anime because all of it is weird weeb stuff is wrong. People who love every single aspect of anime, be an elitist, or do some weird ass waifu/loli shit have gone too far falling in love with animated children. Cosplaying is okay. Cosplaying happens with everything. Anime is also shitty when you talk about it 24/7 or truely get pissed off that someone likes Code Geass and it's too low for your taste. I personally think everyone should try anime, but that also applies for other stuff. Instantly saying you hate rap music doesn't mean all rap music sucks, sports, etc. It is not that bad to like every anime or talk about it all the time, but just don't be a cunt about it and expect people to dislike you for being so obsessed with that. There are like 4 autistic kids at my school obsessed with sharks and dinosaurs and you remind me of the same thing.

Also if you want to suggest me an anime put it here I need something to watch.
