Okay lets be legit here, Mineplex opening Faction would be stupid, but can you think of a better overall server for little kids than Prison? I mean of course you have the people that just like playing it and PvPing, but there are so many 10-year-olds building cake statues and mining 24/7. If they opened exact copies of like 10 prison servers they could probably sell global ranks on them but you would, of course, want to play on one server only. So I'd say eh 250+ average per server for like 2,500 players over to server, that's easily $100 top rank x 750 kids = $75,000 and that's just kids donating the top rank, not keys, other ranks, picks, etc. It would be so easy to farm from 10-year-olds.
Why Doesnt Mineplex Open Core Gamemodes? (Factions||Prison||Skyblock||Survala||Etc)

In my eyes, Hypixel is the most unique server. They've been around WAY longer than Mineplex, and actually, Hypixel (the server) started from a personal YouTube channel (Hypixel's channel) vs. Mineplex that pays large You Tubers to scream into their mic, and spam the IP address in the description, along with a link to Mineplex's donation page, I think we all know who I'm talking about...
Now, why they don't add these servers? They most likely don't want to take the risk of loss of players, they could be worrying about how/why it wouldn't work out in their favor. Besides, a Prison server typically isn't made for 15,000+ players, same goes with Sky Block, and most defiantly Survival. I think that if Hypixel ever releases this (Actually, they used to have a Survival server for only MVP's.) then Mineplex defiantly will release something similar, basically copying them.
And one last thing, as already mentioned above me, Mineplex's global ranks (Legend, Ultra, etc.) would not work (most likely not) with these "core" game modes, they'd have to create separate ranks like a normal server would do, which may get them more $money$, but not guaranteed.

Mineplex just has such a long history of stealing concepts and ideas, it's honestly pathetic. Even when Mineplex first started, they robbed the hub (which is stilled used to this day) from Wacos, which closed years ago, then Wacos' unique gamemodes (ex. wacos war, look it up on youtube, to bridges) and continue's to rob ideas and take credit for them. Mineplex is an joke. The only reason that they have managed to stay up this long is due to popularity. Fortunately, Hypixel will be the next mineplex, but just much higher quality then mineplex's cheap, stolen gamemodes.
