I heard it was setup so that need for speed gets more attention.

Seems like it was a technical malfunction. But still he was super cringey. Not facing the right way when the camera switches (you can hear some girl yelling "Jesse"). Accidentally calling Marcus "Nick", that handshake, and just being really fidgety lol.
