I understand the concept of Summer hosts etc but there is sooooo many. Why?

Also would it be worth it to start one, even though the market is saturated lol

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

People on here want to start a business but have no creativity. When they see all available hosting companies, they think it's a good idea to join the bunch (without doing much research on how saturated the market is...)

If you can own your hardware & afford cloud software, I would say outside of MC, cloud is poppin! Inside this niche, hosting is cancer.

Realistically the majority of these hosting companies will have their own hardware with a secure infrastructure in DDoS protected data centres etc. or they are renting already existing cloud hosted hardware from big providers in bulk/reserved pricing and up-selling the hosting by adding '<Game> Server Setup'.

Starting a business in this area is probably beyond difficult without much upfront capital. Just my two cents. :)

Yes that is what I was thinking since they are so cheap.
