No. Most people leave quite silently and are quickly forgotten by most other users. The reason it seems like most people scam is because those are the people you hear about. Scam reports are easier to find than a dead profile.

Honestly seeing meaningful threads like this is really nice to see. It's something that I believe to be partially true as well.
A lot of people on MCM learn what sort of behavior pays off in the long run based on how other users react. It may be Minecraft oriented, but it's a marketplace at the same time, and some skills here will be helpful in more important endeavors.
