Happy late new years! What's your personal opinion on opening a Minecraft server nowadays?
This has been said since 2014. Like all things the community is constantly changing, leaving one server for whatever reason, joining another for whatever reason. As long as you have a good idea and execute it well, you can carve out your own little communityThe market is so saturated with them, I just don't look ideally into that market anymore. I do other things like administration and actual working on their servers, like here.
I should of extended my point, yes, this is how I feel about it all to be honest. The market changes so often when creating a server, you need to adapt it to the best way possible to gain players. This has been said since 2014. Only difference between now and then is the standard is a lot higher therefore it takes a lot more work, and there are a larger amount of servers, so you're going to need a bit more luck. But it's definitely possible
Oof. Even that’s super hard to do honestly. Think of something out there; chances are someone has already done it. I see servers that are a simple copy/paste of other servers but advertised heavily and are in the 100s of players. Unique doesn’t necessarily mean success.Do something really extraodinary and I don't mean adding another plugin to Skyblock but make a new gamemode that will be a classic and other servers will try to recreate.
