Hi, So I recently purchased a new Wi-Fi plan from my ISP because my previous connection was horrible, It has gotten a lot better since it has started as my ping has gone down from a 26 Average to a 15 Average, I recently did a Wi-Fi test on Oookla but I'm not really sure what the Upload and Download Speeds Mean, Can someone possibly tell me if these speeds are decent or not and how it compares to the average persons internet?

Upload Speed (Mbps): 20.04
Download Speed (Mbps): 345.26
Ping (MS): 15

Those aren't really that bad. Everyone's expectations will be different, and I know people who run on < 10 up AND down. I personally get upwards of 800 mbps up/down wired on a good day (most days), but average about 600 up/down, however I have google fiber. I will say that these speeds, being as high as they are, don't show ME a HUGE noticeable difference from when I used to get < 100 mbps up/down. Another thing to consider is the service you're connecting to, their speeds. Sure, I can have 800 mbps, but if I'm trying to connect to a service that's only dishing out data at 20mbps, my high speed doesn't really matter too much, because I can't pull data faster than it's being given to me. I've never had speeds less than 50mbps, so I can't really comment on your upload.

How do you think that is not great!? I would give my appendix up for those speeds! D:

Supposedly 45 MS Ping : 5.07 Down : 0.78 Up...

Oh god, I guess my ISP actually did something useful for me for once. I believe my speeds before this were 52 Download and 16 Upload. #PrayForPxnda

That's a very decent download speed, especially for wireless. most download speeds for Wifi tend to average on 20 both ways if you have a good connection, and go down from there.
The upload speed is very decent for a non-glassfibre connection, most of those tend to have like 1 mbps.
btw there's an option to turn it into megabyte per second.

WiFi is generally hundreds of Mbps. All the replies here seem to be about Internet speeds, not WiFi speeds. ;)

Here is my WiFi speed.

I'm spoiled enough to have a Gigabit line, however I've set hardlimits because I have a few networks (one being for a home business), and I have 2 Servers running off of a second line I had ran, without a hard limit.

I live in Australia so its very sad how bad our net speeds are unless we have NBN which isn't in our area.... Mine is around 10-13mbps down and 0.3 up, like i said, sad.
