hey i don't have the time to make a server myself but i will pay for the hosting if someone can set it all up and run it for me. 50/50 % donation split!

The server is barely setup but partly configured for prison as of now but can be changed!

DM me if interested.

If the server is say 2GB, that could be costing you $5 a month. Yet someone else could work really hard, and it make $100+ a month in donations, and you would be making loads. A 50/50 split, with someone that is doing all the work, seems a bit high.

It averages out to $6/month for "kiddle ware". Premium class hosting can cost you up wards to $40/month depending on features, managment, and etc.

It's not fair to the person who would set it up and do all the hard work. It would be more fair if they got something like 75% of the donations. We get it that you host the server but if your hosting you should at least do something other than "Ill host and you have to pay me 50% of donations" It's like we're talking about mineplex here, so There are 3 owners. 1 owner does all the developing blah blah blah The 2nd owner manages staff and building etc. but the 3rd owner doesn't do anything he just gets most of the donations does that seem fair to you?

$40 a month for hosting is quite alot, even with MCPRO you could get a 4GB server. For what MCPRO provides extra for all that month isnt worth it. Most good hosts are close to $2.5 - 3 a month per GB. Like SpaceMine

Yet again Malzaniza you are trying to start trouble on my posts for no reason, anyways Fire i understand where you are coming from as if it did cost me only $5/month for hosting a 50/50% share would not be fair on the other person who has put in all this hard work, but as FTSOwner stated the hosting I am paying for is near the $50 range and that is why I have initially put it down as a 50/50% share, but obviously I would reconsider the shares if larger sums of money started to be made and possibly give the other person a 75% share. I hope I have cleared this up for you and anyone else who happens to see this.

Regards EBChris.

Some VPSes are actually priced quite close/at that price mark. https://allgamer.net/virtual-servers

That same provider used to be quite expensive but I guess they dropped their prices on their Game Servers since I last remember them.

Yeah plus you never know what currency I was talking about either, for example in Australian Dollars $50 is nowhere near allot of money for a server each month as you can tell from this image:

Dont use MCPRO, they are big, and have a good service, and they know this, so charge a fortune for their hosting. Yes its good, but not worth more than $5 per GB. They make money off people, with lots of money and think that the more they pay the better hosting they will get. Yes, this is true to some level, but the line has to be draw somewhere. You can get a good dedicated server, from SoYouStart, Xeon E3 CPU, 32GB RAM, all for less than their 6GB package. You can’t honestly tell me, its worth it to pay all that money, just because they have a fast support team. When the likely hood of you needing to contact them is quite slim in most cases.

To add it depend where the server itself is needed as well. For instance genuine Australian servicing it not uncommon for a "budget" server to come at ~12 USD a month per GB.

Yeah too be honest Fire I don't have a problem paying a little bit extra for hosting if I get 24/7 support and I know its a reputable brand in a close location but I understand where you are coming from with the MCPRO prices being extremely overpriced. The fact is though I am not using them for hosting currently and I was merely using them as an example. I used to use fluctis hosting and they served me well also for a little bit more money. :)

I'm not attempt to cause trouble ;-; You assume I am. Also that makes a little more sense on why you want 50% now make sure to include why you wanted 50% in your original post :p
