Hey guys, I have a 1.5.2 server and have came across another 1.5.2 server that also lets 1.8 launchers connect.

I have figured out it is actually a 1.8 server but somehow it is letting 1.5.2 launchers connect to it.
I tried to contact the owner to see how but there seems to be a language barrier.

being able to do this would be worth so much to me as i could update to 1.8 without loosing all my players that have 1.5.2 launcher. if someone could help by telling me how to do this, I would be willing to pay.

ahah i know, i believe this user is legit though. Has a cracked server currently 700+ players online. and he is currently afk on the server. Seems like a nice guy

I believe this user has scammed me, he would not give me access to his control panel so I told him exactly what to do. step-by-step, he has completed it and is no longer replying to me on skype.

You should always ask for at least %25-%50 payment when you are half way through the job.
