I currently am building a PC, my current one gets 1-7FPS on GTA with low settings xD so I ordered a motherboard and have a good CPU etc but my GPU I have (not from my current pc) idk if it can handle it any better, it's a GeForce 8600 GT. Is this able to play with at least 30-50FPS? If not, what GPU would you recommend? I am looking to spend $110 MAX. Thanks!

It is a bad card. Might be able to run it at like very low settings with low FPS, but not very well.

Even with my GTX 970 I had some FPS dips when it rained and such back when I used to play GTA Online like a year ago~. If you're investing in a video card, I'd just go ahead and aim for a 1060/1070 if you can. $110 will not get you a good card. You might be able to find a cheap 960/970 off of ebay that can run the game decently.

Thats a pretty low budget for what you want, I'd try and maybe save up some extra money and consider a different card.

Best of luck,

750 Ti is pretty good for its price. Less than $100 but you'll be able to run it on high settings.

$110 is a tight budget. Save up some more money for a RX 470 or 480.

I am currently using the Nvidia GTX 950 2GB graphics card, but the GTX 1050TI is a good choice too
