So I decided I want some cool, unique trees. A lot of worldpainters use pretty much the same trees, almost all from publicly available packs, whether free or paid.
Nor do I have an idea of exactly what I need. I am looking for new ideas in terms of trees and similar assets. So here is the contest instead.
PRIZES!
1st place - a 100% discount on any map under $60. I will be using prices in my service thread (see signature) as a reference, but I have a price calculator as well for more complex features. Alternatively, you can get 3 products, worth $50 or less collectively, from my sellfy store for free.
2nd place - A 50% discount on any one order under $100 (so yes, if you get a $100 map you save as much as first place). Alternatively, you could get a 50% discount on any 2 Sellfy products of your choice.
3rd Place - a 30% discount on any order under $100.
4th to 10th: a 10% discount on any order under $100, or a 20% discount on any Sellfy product of your choice.
Bonus prize: a 10% discount on any Sellfy product of your choice.
All sellfy discounts stack with existing discounts.
Bonus prize is for if I get more than 10 entries that I want to use. If you did not win any of the prizes but I want to use your submission anyway, you will get the bonus prize.
What do you submit?
I want at least 2 trees per entry, and at least 1 other object. This does not need to be a house or anything big. A fancy rock will do, if its good enough.
Trees should not be bigger than 100 blocks tall or 200 blocks wide, or smaller than 10x10. For the other objects, there are no specifications.
They need to be fit for worldpainter. This means that they should either have a base layer (assume the very bottom block to be the base layer) that can be stacked downwards by 5 blocks or more and still look aesthetically pleasing, or have a custom 'root' that can be buried into landscape.
They should also be delivered in individual schematics. The position you stand at when making the schematic (when typing //copy on the clipboard with WE) becomes the center of the schematic for worldpainter, so please keep that in mind.
Submissions will be done by PM'ing me a download link with pictures, as well as posting "Submitted" in this thread.
ALL SUBMISSIONS I USE WILL RECEIVE CREDIT ON MY PROFILE DESCRIPTION, AS WELL AS THE BOTTOM OF MY SIGNATURE!
I HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE ANY SUBMISSIONS IN MY PROJECTS AS I WISH!
I may not resell them as is or claim them as my own work
I may sell or publish maps including your submission, and I do not need to credit you every map, as long as I credit you on my profile and in my signature.
If you win a prize for positions 1 to 10, you may not resell or redistribute your submission. Doing so before receiving the prize will disqualify you. Doing so after will be counted as a scam.
If you do not win a 1-10 prize, you are free to redistribute. If you win a position but want to resell/distribute it anyway, you will receive the bonus prize instead and positions will move up.
Custom Maps won as prize automatically gain resell rights: Just PM me the link so I don't disrupt your thread unwittingly. So even if you dont need a map, you can still try to make profit with it. Otherwise, my usual terms apply to those maps. See my service thread.
SELLFY PRODUCTS DO NOT GET RESELL RIGHTS AT ANY POINT!
If I find that any submission is not yours to submit, you will be disqualified. If I discover this after you received a prize, I will treat it as a scam.
Submissions after the deadline but before the award date are disqualified from all but the bonus prize. THAT MEANS IF YOU ARE LATE YOU CAN STILL GET THE BONUS PRIZE!
If you believe any part of this contest is unfair, please inform me of this through PM. Statements of this sort in the thread itself will be reported and then ignored.
