You can run Windows 7 on a VPS.

Windows VPS typically have Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012.

I've never seen any other on a windows VPS. Not saying it's not possible.

We have Windows VPS starting at $10 per month for 8GB RAM and 50GB HDD. That is USA though. We provide 180 day trials with our windows VPS.

You can run Windows 7 on a VPS.

Yes, if the provider allows custom ISO you can pull of win7 or win8.1 I'm sure

I can probably provide you with a Windows VPS in Amsterdam either the 22nd or 23rd of this month with a 250Mbps connection and 8GB DDR3 ECC on a fairly decent CPU for around $15/month. You will need to provide your own Windows key. I recommend looking at a site like Kinguin or something for a cheap key.

I could run Windows server on my Desktop. Doesn't mean I should do, doesn't mean ill walk into a PC world and see desktops that come with Windows server installed either.

They haven't indicated a reason worth getting Windows Server.
