I would first like to mention that I make a post just like this in another section. The reason as to why I am reposting is because I believe that was the wrong section.

Hello MC-Market,

I dont know if this thread is allowed but I would like to first make my point clear,
- I AM NOT ASKING TO CHARGEBACK A PAYMENT ON MC-MARKET

I purchased csgo skins from a kid and he scammed me. I sent over $150 through F&F and got scammed. I did some research on google and it turns out it is possible to chargeback / win dispute over F&F payments. I would like to know how.

If anyone has gotten scammed (through F&F) and got their money back by chargebacking or opening a dispute and winning. Please Let me know how by PMing me or adding me on discord Offwhite#0967.

***Note: I used PayPal Balance and not my credit card so I have no way of contacting my credit card company and requesting that they deny this purchase***

If you recieved a payment though F&F and the buyer chargebacked and won, please also let me know.

Only way to even have a chance is to call paypal. Assuming your of age and not using fake information it should be rather easy to get it reversed. Just tell them a seller tricked you into using F&F For a purchase then failed to deliver the product.
So my Paypal Is verified and all my ids have been verified; proof of address, SSN, ect.
Would emailing them also do the job? Considering I do not have a lot of time to sit with my phone waiting for response

The emails are robots, and its impossible to get to a real person. I do not suggest emailing them. A phone call would be your best option because you can talk to a real person.

Better off with a phone call. The email system is trash and super slow. You can probs get it sorted in a matter of minutes on the phone. Just be honest explain the situation and most of all dont be a dick to the representative there much more likely to help you when your respectful and polite

Same happened to me but the guy didn't (scam) me he sent wrong email i sent him $200 F&F and i called paypal. They did nothing about it. What should I do since i lost the $200 and the other guy just walked off?

If you have already talked to PayPal, and they didn't do anything I would assume there is no hope for getting the money sent back to you?

Instead of the wrong email, he could’ve sent you his alternate email and you got scammed. But If i were you, check with credit card company. If you made the purchased using balance I suggest persisting. After all you’ll never know till you try.

With reguards to something like that, calling paypal and explaining you were sending something to a family member and they gave the wrong email and you have no clue who received the money is your best bet. Asking for them to reroute to the correct account may work. Tbh im not familiar with paypals Stand on typo related sending. What did you say to them when you called before?

I told them I sent F&F to wrong email. They said they couldn't do anything about it cause the transaction has been completed. everything is bullshit

Since it got stolen two days later, you can do one of these two things,
-Reach out to your credit card company and report the charge as fraud or
-Reach out to your credit card company and report your situation, I’m sure they will help you sort it out!

From my understanding you made the purchase with your credit card.

Since it got stolen two days later, you can do one of these two things,
-Reach out to your credit card company and report the charge as fraud or
-Reach out to your credit card company and report your situation, I’m sure they will help you sort it out!

I don't really care at this point, you lose money okay. Paypal is full of bullshit anyways and i don't have access to the new card so they cannot do anything about it either way. Not going to (trash) your thread anymore. Thanks anyways

Before you go, is your paypal verified? Did you provide proof of residence, SSN and stuff like that?
I think if you have a verified account, the support will favour you.

After I confirmed my PayPal account I was able to apply for PayPal Credit and receive $4,500 as my limit.

Before you go, is your paypal verified? Did you provide proof of residence, SSN and stuff like that?
I think if you have a verified account, the support will favour you.

After I confirmed my PayPal account I was able to apply for PayPal Credit and receive $4,500 as my limit.

I have no clue, dont think so cause you have to confirm your credit card which i never did and cannot do now since i don't have one lol.
