you can deal with it, just don't eat solids for a few days. Your throat will hurt like a bitch though so make sure you've got ice cream prepared.

I had one out not too long ago, it was 10 days until I could fully return to eating like a pig. But it must have been bruised or something because everytime my top teeth made contact with the bottom teeth, it hurt like heck. So just take care when eating for a bit.
