Introduction

Hello, I'm Ethan! I've been playing DayZ a lot recently, and I realized that it is a really fun game, but overall, its also very buggy and not very well built, and that it lacks in several areas. I've been working on a new game idea, I've dubbed it "Within The Grave" and I've been working out ways to make the game more fun, accessible, and unique. Lets dive right in shall we?


Why?

Well why not? I'm kidding of course, bland and boring answers like that make this seem pointless. Lets go over a few reason why I've been working on this.


Content -

The content in DayZ is small. Yes, the map is massive and progression feels fast and takes forever, but it still lacks in ways. I find myself starting out, racing inland, gathering gear, hitting a few military bases, building a base myself, getting a car, becoming stacked, and then going out killing people till I got bored and died. I think we could up the content in the game with missions or tasks, more advanced electrical systems, more base building capabilities, and more content to be planned in order to appeal to a few different play styles and add more to do in the game.


Offline Play -

We've all been there. The wifi goes down, 90% Of the good games become unplayable. I believe using modern AI technology we could create a single player environment scattered with AI that act and even talk like real people.


Mobile -

I would love a full blown DayZ for the mobile devices. With Unity3D's technology we can easily build this game to run on most major game consoles today.


More -

I've been coming up with ideas for the game almost as consistently as DayZ has been putting out garbage updates, for an in-depth review of all the features I have planned please see below!


Who am I looking for?

I'm looking for anyone interested in following the development of this game, helping out with donations, or anyone Interested in forming a team of people to work on this. For anyone interested in my very very very overly detailed guide of features for the game (starting from nothing and explaining basically the whole game) I'll be finishing up all the features for the first version of the game soon. I'm writing it like a Wiki so it covers everything you need to know about the game and its content and features. If you would like to read through this "Wiki" please private message me below.
