Are you a web developer? How much experience have you had with development and what frameworks do you use?

I wouldn't call myself a web developer. I know basics of CSS and HTML. However, I disagree with you saying that "wordpress developers" are liars or fools. If you develop wordpress plugins/addons, then by all means, you are a wordpress developer, or more specifically, a wordpress plugin developer.

The thread was about making a wordpress template, not a plugin or add-on. My point was that there is no such thing as a "developer" who makes wordpress themes. That is a designer, and a pretty ignorant one at that.

Ah, I misunderstood you then. I do agree with that.
