Wordpress Help!

Hello, So basically I setup Wordpress on my VPS and when I do all steps with adding database etc. It comes up when I type in http://mydomain.com/wp-admin/ ERROR WHILE CONNECTING TO DATABASE. So can someone please help? I tried to reinstall word press 4 times and still doesn't work also I have PHPMyAdmin. Thanks!

No 16GB VPS. Cost a Lot! BTW this isn't a web host it is mixed with multicraft, PHPMYAdmin, MYSql etc.
